Arsenal are the latest club to be linked with a move for Argentine international winger Nicolas Gaitan.

The 23-year-old Benfica star has been heavily linked with a move to England in the past, with both Manchester United and Manchester City eager to bring the player to the Premier League.

However, the Gunners have now joined the chase for the former Boca Juniors starlet, with French-based scout Gilles Grimandi confirming to Portuguese press that Arsene Wenger is keeping tabs on the player.

Following Arsenal's humbling 4-0 defeat to AC Milan in the first leg of their Champions League last 16 clash at the San Siro, reports in The Daily Mirror claim Wenger is looking to 'overhaul' his squad at the end of the season.

And Gaitan, who is valued in the region of £35 million by the Aguias, is one of the players in the sights of the Emirates Stadium outfit, with Lukas Podolski, Mario Gotze and Matias Suarez also on the radar in north London.
